Dr. Nathalie Duque Bello, Ph. D., LMFT #MT 2319
Dr. Nathalie Bello began working with children in 1999 as a preschool teacher, and later on as an elementary substitute teacher and teachers’ assistant. Her passion for assisting children and families live a happy and peaceful life led her to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
* Throughout her career, Dr. Bello has seen over 1,000 clients of all ages. She works with individuals, families and youth dealing with a wide range of issues.
* From 2004 to 2010, Dr. Bello was the Executive Director of SUPERB, an award-winning anti-bullying program in Broward County schools created by Nova Southeastern University. She worked with the Broward County Public School District to conduct research, publish articles, and create anti-bullying policies.
* In addition, Dr. Bello has supervised and trained over 50 marriage and family therapy Master students in proper therapy techniques, and works closely with faculty members from Nova Southeastern University.
* Dr. Bello has also worked as a Parent-Child Behavioral Modifier for the University of Florida ’s Shands Hospital and a therapist for the Broward County Department of Juvenile Justice.
* Dr. Bello is an Educational Planning Specialist and is certified in Children’s Functional Assessment Rating Scales.
